3 gunmen pull off robbery in Bradenton

MANATEE — Three gunmen early Tuesday robbed three people as they were leaving a house in Bradenton, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

The victims — two men and a woman — were leaving a house in the 900 block of 35th Avenue Drive East about 3:55 a.m., when they were approached by three suspects who at gunpoint ordered them to the ground, according to a news release.

The suspects took money, jewelry and cell phones, before fleeing on foot in an unknown direction.

The suspects were wearing black and camouflage clothing, and they had their faces covered. Two were described as standing 6 feet, 2 inches tall and weighing 190 pounds. The third suspect was described as standing 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds, according to the sheriff's office.
