TAMPA — A Bradenton physician has been charged with seven counts of illegally distributing drugs, the United States Attorney Office Middle District said in a media release.
If convicted on all counts Aimee Martin faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in federal prison, a media release said. Martin allegedly illegally prescribed Oxycodone and Hydrocodone on seven occasions between September 2009 and May 2010, according to the indictment.

I am so glad this women was caught. She new what she was doing was wrong. I called this womens office and let her know that she was prescribing way too much Oxycodone to someone that did not need it and she still kept prescibing it. This women helped ruin our family.
ReplyDeleteI am glad the woman was eventually caught. She helped destroy our family and many many others. Hopefully this is just the begining of authorities cracking down on illegal prescriptions. The Bay area needs to rid itself of these ridiculous doctors. Florida needs to be known for its tough laws and great rehabilitation facilities, not the "Painkiller capital of the United States". Florida needs to pave the way for other states that will inevitably have this massive problem. THIS PROBLEM WILL NOT GO AWAY BY ITSELF.
