MANATEE -- A 43-year-old man was shot to death in Bradenton early Saturday, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
Roman Hall was found lying on the ground outside the back door of his residence in the 5700 block of Seventh Street East shortly after 12:30 a.m. Deputies performed CPR until paramedics arrived, but Hall was pronounced dead at 12:48 a.m., according to a news release.
A witness told deputies they heard a gunshot about 12:30 a.m., and when they stepped outside they saw a possible suspect running through the victim's back yard toward the alley, according to the report.

"There was evidence of drug dealing at the residence, but a motive in the shooting has not been determined at this time," the report states.
The possible suspect was described as having "a medium size afro," and wearing a long black shirt with white lettering and blue shorts, according to the sheriff's office.
